Following the Teacher's Day holiday, Beijing Changrui Foundation ("BCF") made a return visit to the Rural Teacher Training Charitable Program. Tian Yu, President of CPE, led the group and talked to the teachers and the children at length, learning about the teachers' enthusiasm and their devotion to education.

The Rural Teacher Training Charitable Program has held nine training sessions since it started in July 2012. This time, together with Beijing Shijia Education Group and the local education bureau, BCF visited participating schools in Songshan, Inner Mongolia to attend a review of a training and teaching presentation. During the visit, they were deeply moved by the teachers' dedication to the children and the kids’ passion for studying and their thirst for knowledge.

Established by CPE in 2012, BCF goes by the proverb "It Takes Ten Years to Grow a Tree but a Hundred Years to Raise A Person" and the organization continues to provide support to public welfare training projects for teachers in rural areas. Looking back at the results of 2019, the project provided special support for rural primary school teachers in 10 of the poorest, most remote areas as well as funding for 12 outstanding young teachers in rural primary schools. In addition, it continued to increase the number of minority rural teachers participating in teacher training programs. The program not only provides rural teachers with the opportunity to learn how to teach compulsory subjects but also offers items of social practice and life experience sharing, in order to help their overall ability to be a rural teacher. By 2019, more than 600 rural teachers had participated in the training.

After nine years of hard work and persistence, BCF's Rural Teacher Training Charitable Program for minority teachers has really come into its own. Going forward, the project will help even more teachers' professional development and encourage students to enjoy and make the most of their studies. BCF's core philosophy of "providing a fair education and harmonious development" will help drive the project even further and enable BCF to continue making a valuable contribution to society.
